Residence Inn by Marriott Memphis Downtown

Standard RI by Marriott offering, which is good. Quaint building, decorated nicely. Room well appointed. We were traveling with a large dog, and the reservation was fine. $125 pet fee. However, there is no where to take your pet to relieve themselves; no pet walk, no green space. An advertised pet friendly hotel should provide something, even if small.

Really nice, clean hotel. Night time hostess was an amazing person & made sure we got the best room/view for our money . A couple of blocks from all the fun of Beale street! But didn’t hear any road noise. Beds aren’t very comfortable but the shower water is good & HOT Rooms are spacious and kitchens are well equipped for a great stay! Pots, pans, silverware, etc.. Parking is the only downside. You have to pay $31 a night and there’s literally no other options near. Then when u need your vehicle you have to sit and wait for them to bring it around..

I spent here 3 months. It was a very good experience. Room cleaning is done every 2 days. The service is okay, and we had breakfast earlier because we were leaving earlier. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for longer and for shorter visits!

The Residence Inn downtown Memphis exceeded my expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and kind every interaction felt genuine and welcoming, which made the stay so enjoyable. On top of that, the views from the rooftop were a pleasant surprise and made the experience even more memorable. A perfect spot for both comfort and hospitality in the heart of the city!

Much happier with this hotel than I expected. The staff are phenomenally helpful and friendly. I wanted to especially show my appreciation to Olga and Aima. They provide a nice complimentary breakfast each morning and there's a FULL STARBUCKS DOWNSTAIRS! You can have a morning Frapp next to a real (gas) fireplace! The only downside is the small gym. But there are plenty of gyms nearby and great running paths. Wonderful hotel in an increasingly awesome city (Memphis)

We had a great stay at this Residence Inn. The room setup is a little different, likely due to it being a historic hotel. That said, the rooftop views were well worth going to the top and the service was excellent. Mrs. Ima took great care of us, offering good food recommendations and being a welcoming presence. Loved having a connected Starbucks and free brealfast the next morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place. Would stay there again. It's a historic old hotel that's been remodeled. Nice decor. Only 2 small elevators, and 1 wasn't working for our stay, so there was somewhat of a wait. The rooms were spacious and clean - not new rooms, but not too old either. Everyone was very nice, particularly the front desk and valet. The drawback about being in the City is that they don't have their own garage, and you pretty much have to use valet (another charge). You can park somewhere else on your own, but I have the sense that you don't necessarily want to be walking around the City after dark. The hotel is a locked building and you need your keycard to enter. We were never concerned for our safety. Typical and adequate hotel breakfast (eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles and bread). I would recommend staying there.

The Marriott Residence Inn is a very nice place to stay in Memphis. It's in a great location in the heart of the city and a 5 minute walk to Beale Street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included, at least with my booking, and was excellent.
